To develop and maintain a management framework which incorporates and focuses on HSE issues in all aspects of the business.  To achieve compliance with the relevant local and International HSE regulations and wherever practicable, identify and establish standards which reflect international good practice.  To liaise with government bodies for required certifications.  To work closely with our principals and suppliers to promote and supply products and develop services which reflect an environmentally sound technology which enhance product performance and efficiency.  To liaise with local regulatory bodies to reduce and optimize the environmental impact of the products that we distribute through promotional schemes such as recycling etc.  To monitor and manage the HSE impacts, risks and opportunities for our businesses for the benefit of our employees, customers and principals.  To raise awareness and provide guidance to our departments, streams and staff members to assist them in implementing consistent HSE standards.  To regularly review and report on the implementation of the Company QHSE Policy and set and audit targets for future improvement in all locations and streams.  Management Representative for ISO 22000:2005.  Ensure that Company’s HSE requirements as detailed in the Health, Safety Environmental & Quality Management System (QMS) are implemented in compliance with Client Health & Safety requirements and maintained in all existing and new sites.  Develop Annual HSE Plan for each location, in line with the Company’s Regional and Country plans, to ensure all company objectives are met and in compliance with Client’s requirement.  Assist the Project Management Team in reviewing and updating HSE/ QMS document procedures and work instructions.  Monitor and report on all major non-conformances and follow up the same for effective closure.  Undertake planned routine HSE, HACCP and/or QMS audits and inspections to ensure ongoing awareness of need to minimize risks for each sites/ line of service including food safety aspects.

M.Sc in Applied Microbiology from Vel’s College of Science [University of Madras 2008-2010] with 74% aggregate. B.Sc in Microbiology from Vel’s College of Science [University of Madras 2005-2008] with 69% aggregate.
