Aug 2007 - Sep 2008 (1 Year, 1 Month) | Site Support Engineer(Under Contractor for Globe Telecom Broadband Operations) Assist and support as a Tier 3rd Level of support for Systems Administrators and head office for troubleshooting method and procedure as will as configuration of the machines and servers in globe telecom-cebu. Likewise with policy routers and switches especially load balancer and web cached servers maintaining accurately its main-core network towards internet subscribers for both residential and corporate account in the whole visayas regions. Equipments handled CORE NETWORK like Cisco switch, BlueCoat Cached Servers, Foundry L2/L3 switches & Load Balancers and also REDBACK Routers.
Duties and Responsibilities · Responsible for response with in 30minutes to 1 hr. to site area · Diagnose technical hardware and software issues in network Equipments. · Conducts evaluation on backbone lines and fiber optic connections in core network. · Ability to troubleshoot communications devices such Load Balancers and Cached Servers · Create and Manage SLA for technical hardware and software issues in network Equipment’s. · Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically. · Monitor and maintain technology equipment to ensure maximum uptime. · Escalation of technical repair jobs to maintain SLA turn-around time with in minimum time. · Keeping logbook for help interaction · 24/7 On call and respond · Perform updates in equipment firmware and IOS for network equipments as instructed. · Advise direct subscriber on appropriate action. · Level III support personnel are the last resort when confronting complex customer issues. |
