Maryam Mohammed

I am Maryam, 23 years old studying at Sultan Qaboos University. I am in my last year student in petroleum and natural gas engineering. I spent all my last years to improve my knowledges, skills, and informations in technical and non-technical applications.

Since school, I was an ambitious student and always try to discover new things.

As I believe I can excel in competitions, exhibitions, and workshops. This comes from my experiences in leading various functions within societies where this enhanced my potentials in teamwork activities. Also, I always seek for new challenges where I will be developing as student and as an engineer. What motivates me the most to be part of this opportunity is the knowledge base that I will be gaining from a very diverse referrals, as in participants & engineers, this will be contributing to my development, extending my networks & enhance my presentation and communication even further.

I am really proud of my self due to my strong soft skills where I built them along my years of study participating in various societies and leading different functions and team, also my hunger and curiosity usually drive me to achieve more.

Me as Maryam got many many different awards and certificates, some examples below:

• Winning the best student company in Injaz Oman (2020), and one of the best three companies in Injaz Alarab (2021).
• Winning the second place in Ehsan Volunteering Competition (2019).
• Winning the first place in the competition for the best environmental initiative to reduce plastic pollution.
• Winning the third place in  2021 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) competition around MENA region.
• Trainee at Daleel Petroleum Company as a well engineer.
• Trainee in Medco Energy Company.
• Many awards and certificates from SQU
