Since my graduation, my seniors acknowledged my communication and presentation skills thus I often got nominated for clinical and case presentations . My first job was amongst one of the largest tertiary care hospitals in Karachi, with 700 beds and 35 specialities. I had an opportunity to work and learn some administrative tactics during my internship with Neurosurgery Department in Liaquat National Hospital. This added a sense of confidence and ability to recognize my traits and skills in the field of Healthcare. My inquisitiveness and passion has allowed me to gain new knowledge that has supported me in learning Ultrasound scanning, which I managed to practice along with my clinical practice for more than 10 years. I also have an experience in working within and for the community as General Practitioner in remote areas of Karachi and Hyderabad, where I served as a Health Educator and Promoter and participated in awareness programmes for child vaccines, elderly care, and women’s health and mental well-being.  It was a brisk and straightforward journey for me to continue as a Physician, a Health Manager and an Educationist. I was keen but was amongst the crowd who were not apprised the potential  educational and career growth and its timely need for myself and my community. I always wished to pursue towards postgraduate studies but couldn’t due to a number of personal reasons and had to shift to Oman to join my husband who had been working in ministry of health for quite a long time. I didn’t give up and during that period, became an Educationist and career counsellor. I finished my Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management and started inspiring my students to grow academically and helped them to learn English Language voluntarily. I launched my Facebook awareness page called Health Wise on  protection, prevention and management of COVID-19, and started writing blogs and shared informational videos along with authentic research papers on it.  I have also started to work for the mental well-being of females and writes blogs on psychological aspects of females and their solutions. 

I am keenly looking forward to this job which can help me grow as a community worker with in public health .

Has worked as General Practitioner, Sonologist/Sonographer, Health Educator and healthcare manager in a private clinic in a remote area of Karachi and Hyderabad, Pakistan for more than 10 years. Had been working for community awareness, prevention and management of COVID-19 during pandemic through personal Facebook page called Health Wise. 

MBBS graduate from Jinnah Medical and Dental College / Karachi University. Recently completed OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management and intend to upgrade it with MBA Global Healthcare Management top up course.
