I currently teach English to the foundation students between 18-23 years old. I teach Grammar, Reading, Listening, Academic Writing, and English for Special Purposes (ESP) to Business, Mass Communication and Information Technology students. We use Pathways, Headway Plus, Inside Reading, Lecture Reading and Effective Academic Writing textbooks. The past year has been entirely online using various platforms i.e., Microsoft (Teams, Forms, One Drive, etc..), Google Meet and Classroom, and Blackboard. I also have experience with academic advising, ensuring that students choose correct subject streams, handling registration issues and administrative processes.

I'm 46 years old, from South Africa, and I teach college students in Oman. I teach English to IT, mass communications, and business students. In the past, I primarily taught general English and ESP classes to IT, business, and engineering students in Saudi Arabia. I have experience teaching primary and high school students in Taiwan and South Africa, which includes Natural Science as a subject. I also have experience as a personal trainer and manager in South Africa, working for Virgin Active.  

I have over 18 years of teaching experience and have taught students of various levels and ages. I have excellent organisational and classroom management skills. My interpersonal skills extend to my colleagues and management staff, and I can communicate effectively at all levels within the school or community. I have experience using various online programs, such as STATA, SPSS, Moodle, MS Teams, Blackboard, and other learning platforms.
