Shahbaz Arshad

Currently employed with SNC-Lavalin’s Faithful+Gould. I have more than 20 Years of extensive experience in project management with contractors, consultants, and clients in the Middle East and others. In my present role as Sr. Planning Engineer, I enjoy the responsibility of helping to lead a small development team and seeing projects through from the project life cycle. 

I believe that my strong background in Construction Management, combined with my extensive experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing a variety of projects in overseas companies where I managed complex projects of sewerage & water supply and buildings (Hotels) make me ideally suited to this role. I am highly organized and self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in high demanding environments. A solid team player, I work towards aggressive deadlines accentuated with enhanced initiative. 

I possess a Master of Project Management (MPM) and bachelor’s (Hons) in Civil Engineering Technology, as well as Internationally, recognized PMI’s PMP (Project Management Professional), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), and Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) qualifications. I am proficient in PM software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. I have effectively used these methodologies in my current role in project scheduling, risk & issues tracking, and resource management.
