In Sitara Textiles I was performing following duties:

Designation: Accountant (Accounts Receivables) 

 

Gulf Technical and Trading Co. LLC is an importer and distributor of Food Stuff. Company is importing from various countries including UAE, KSA, France, Egypt etc and distributing to various customers as Carrefour, Lulu Hypermarkets, Mars Hypermarkets, Al Fair Markets, Sultan Centres, Makkah Hypermarkets and many more in all over Oman.

                        

In GTTC I  deal with Account Receivables and performing following:

 

  • Collecting Payments from Sales Department as Cheques and Cash deposit slips.
  • Entering cash, Cheque & online payment into Customer ledgers and conveying any discrepancy in payment to sales department.   
  • Check and enter various discounts as rebate, listing fee, Display etc into customers ledgers and maintaining separate ledgers for all discounts,
  • Making Cr and Dr Notes as per requirement.
  • Reporting twice (once in Excel & 2nd time Software generated Reports) in a month regarding outstanding to Sales Department. 
  • Reconciliation of GTTC statements with customer provided statements to rectify the discrepancies.
  • Assists Account Manager in monthly and Yearly Closings. 
  • Deal with Store department regarding invoice and GRV issues.  
  • Occasionally stock taking of expired and damaged stock.

 

  • Masood Textiles, Faisalabad – (From 11th Aug 2014 to 20th June 2015)

Designation: Accountant

Masood Textiles is an exporter of raw and printed fabrics.

In Masood Textiles I was performing following duties:

                

  • Maintain accounts payables, accounts receivables and other general ledger.
  • Bank Reconciliation.
  • Vouchering and recording of all expenses. 
  • Monthly and yearly financial reports as trail balance, P/L statement and balance sheet.
  • Office cash handling.
  • Transfer of salaries into bank accounts and cash salary payment.

WPI is a construction company and dealing in civil works as sub contractors with different companies as L&T Oman, Strabag LLC Oman etc. Usually have 4 to 6 sites in progress at a time with 175 to 225 workers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to provide and implement a proper accounting system in the company.
  • Maintain accounts payables, accounts receivables and other general ledger.
  • Bank Reconciliation.
  • Check and verify the expenses of all sites.
  • Monthly and yearly financial reports as trail balance, P/L statement and balance sheet.
  • Preparing and controlling the company budget.
  • HR data and file handling.
  • Documentation and correspondence with bank for opening of bank accounts of workers.
  • Salary list preparation and deposit into accounts of workers. 
  • Distribute salary to local workers.
  • Final settlements of workers.
  • Arrange residences on hire for workers at different sites.
  • Office Cash handling.
  • Deal with all out going (as payment against material purchasing, transportation and houses on hire etc) and incoming (as payment against IPCs) payments. 
  • Material purchasing for all sites according to site requirements. 
  • Arrange all transport on hire for delivery of construction and mess material.
  • Correspondence with all site staff regarding administrative and financial matters.

  • Z Engineers (Aug 2009 to Feb 2012)

 AZ Engineers is a construction company. I have worked with AZE in 3 different countries (Sultanate of Oman, Libya and Pakistan). The detail is given below. 

 

  1. Sultanate of Oman–(From 27th Sep2011 to 6th Feb 2012)

Title: Accountant

 

In Oman AZ Engineers and Partners LLC is dealing in civil works as sub contractors with different companies as STFA, L&T Oman etc. Usually have 4 to 8 sites in progress at a time with 300 to 400 workers.

 

Responsibilities:

                            

  • Salary list preparation.
  • Salary transfer of workers into their accounts.
  • HR data and file handling.
  • Final settlements of workers.
  • Office Cash handling.
  • Monthly and yearly financial reports as trail balance, P/L statement and balance sheet.
  • Maintain stock data and verify the presence of stock items at different sites occasionally.

 

 Libya Project – (From 21st April 2010 to 26th Feb 2011)

Title: Admin and accounts In-charge

AZ Engineers worked as sub contractors with STFA (Turkish construction Company) with 250 workers, in 2000 housing project, Souk Al Ahad, Libya.

I worked in that project as admin and accounts in-charge and was responsible for: 

  • Salary list preparation and depositing to STFA.
  • Bank salary transfer list preparation and make sure its transfer into bank accounts (in Pakistani banks). 
  • Preparation of final settlements of workers. 
  • Distribution and recording of Advances against salaries (twice in a month) to workers. 
  • Project cash handling.
  • Handling (vouchering and recording) local expenses.
  • Verify the monthly accounts sheet (of AZ Engineers) prepared by STFA.
  • Verify the kitchen bills (drawn by STFA).
  • Correspondence with Head Office in Lahore, Pakistan. 
  • Letter and site memo writing to STFA regarding site and other issues.
  • All dealing regarding to workers with personal department of STFA (as issuing of Serial nos. Medicals of workers, arrangement for incoming and outgoing workers etc).
  • All dealing with STFA Camp in-charge regarding maintenance of Pakistani camp and kitchen supplies. 
  • Supervise the Pakistani camp and kitchen. 
  • Solve worker problem regarding salaries, overtimes, dormitories and others.
  • Supervise the store issue and balance.

 

c)  Pakistan (Lahore) – (From 15th Aug 2009 to 19th April 2010)

Title: Admin officer

 

AZ Engineers is a Construction Company and is working mostly in sultanate of Oman and Libya.

I worked there as an admin officer and was responsible (for both Sultanate of Oman and Libya projects) for:

  • Appling visas.
  • Arranging and keeping medical record.
  • Arranging flights and keeping flight record.
  • Keeping incoming payments records from workers, were applying for visas.
  • Material (Uniforms, Shoes, Hammers and Grander Machines etc) required for Libya project purchased and sent with workers to Libya
  • Patty cash handling. 
  • Communication with the staff, was working in Sultanate of Oman. 

 

  • Title: Office Assistant

Unity Enterprises, KSK, Lahore – (From 16th July 2007 to 30th June 2009)

Unity Enterprises is a manufacturer of bread and other bakery item as fruit cakes Rusk and biscuits etc.

In Unity Enterprises I was performing following duties.

 

  • Maintain daily sales record.
  • Calculate daily sales of local area.
  • Audit and summarize the expenses at different sales centres.
  • Preparation of van rents and commissions of workers, were working in local area. 
  • Preparation of salary sheets of workers of different sales centres.
  • Verify the salary sheet of the workers of HO (production Unit).
  • Stock taking of store at the end of each month.
  • Provide assistance in monthly and yearly final accounts. 

 

  • China Textiles, Faisalabad – (From 15th Jul 2006 to 10th Jul 2007)

Title: Office Assistant

China Textiles was an exporter of raw fabrics.

In China Textile I was performing following duties:

 

  • Export documentation according to LC.
  • Loan grants and adjustments form bank against export documents.
  • Look after the payment and recovery schedule form different parties.
  • Handling patty cash.
  • Vouchering and posting of loans and patty cash.
