Our client is looking for a results-driven Sales Associate with excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service in Oman. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in the GCC, along with fluency in Chinese and English. This role focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strive for excellence in sales performance through accurate transactions and appealing merchandise displays.
- Attend product knowledge training sessions; full attendance is mandatory.
- Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed to entice customers.
- Participate in inventory processes and ensure smooth operations during team breaks.
- Process customer transactions efficiently, minimizing wait times at point of sale.
- Handle payment transactions safely and responsibly.
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other company events as required.
Qualifications and Skills :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Prior sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment in the GCC.
- Fluency in Chinese and English is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management skills with a proactive approach.
