    We are seeking an experienced M&A Director to join our team in Muscat, Oman.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate development and mergers & acquisitions, with a proven track record of driving strategic growth and value creation.

    About the Role

    This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our M&A function and drive transformative opportunities in line with global and regional market trends. You will report directly to the Chief of Strategy and work closely with senior executives to develop robust strategic and economic frameworks for corporate development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop Strategic Frameworks: Collaborate with senior executives to create comprehensive strategic and economic frameworks for corporate development, ensuring alignment with global and regional market trends.
    • Drive M&A Projects: Lead the initiation, implementation, and management of mergers, acquisitions (M&A), and corporate development projects, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
    • Post-Merger Integration: Oversee the development and execution of post-merger integration strategies, maximizing value creation and minimizing disruption.
    • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert guidance on corporate governance, partner relationships, and portfolio company performance, informing business decisions and driving growth.
    • Portfolio Reviews: Conduct regular strategic reviews of portfolio companies, offering insights and recommendations for growth, business model pivots, and organizational changes.
    • Performance Reporting: Establish management information systems and performance reporting frameworks, enabling executive leadership and boards to make informed decisions.
    • Credit Rating Agencies: Support engagements with credit rating agencies and contribute to investor relations activities, enhancing the company's reputation and credibility.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Relevant Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, finance, or economics.
    • Leadership Experience: At least 8 years of experience in corporate development, innovation, or strategy, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
    • M&A Expertise: Proven expertise in investment appraisal, M&A due diligence, and valuation, with a strong understanding of the telecoms or technology industries.
    • Investment Banking: Investment banking experience is highly desirable, but not essential.

    Salary and Benefits

    The salary for this role is estimated to be around OMR 15,000 - OMR 20,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a competitive relocation package and a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
