We are looking for a Procurement Manager on behalf of our Oil & Gas client based in Fujairah, UAE.

Location:
Fujairah (On-site, 5 days a week)
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM


Responsibilities:
Review and validate purchase requests (PRs) from all departments for accuracy, budget compliance, and necessity.
Coordinate with department heads and the CEO for review, clarification, and final approval of purchase orders (POs).
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor procurement budgets, track savings, and provide periodic reports to management.
Manage procurement documentation, approvals, and record-keeping in alignment with audit requirements.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities, improve supplier relationships, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Liaise with Finance to ensure timely payment processing and proper cost allocation.
Support urgent procurement needs during operational shutdowns, maintenance, or emergency situations.
Monitor market trends, track supplier performance, manage inventory levels, and prepare reports on cost savings and other key metrics.
Develop procurement strategies, policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain procurement tracking systems
Provide regular procurement reports and dashboards to senior leadership


Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Over 10 years' experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or terminal operations sector in UAE.

Familiarity with oil & gas / terminal industry equipment, spare parts, chemicals, and service requirements.
In-depth knowledge of oil & gas procurement standards, logistics, HSSE, and local content regulations
Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Previous experience in drafting policies and procedures.
