IMS Intern - Oman, Liwa

Job summary

The IMS Intern will assist with developing, implementing and/or managing the Industrial Regulatory compliance process for the entity in accordance with the Group procedure and local regulations. The intern will also support any ad-hoc administrative tasks related to Safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial domain)
• Prior internship experience in the domain of HSE or industrial management
• Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Air Liquide's group procedure (GP01) along with relevant local laws and regulation; stay up-to-date with any changes.
• Create, update and maintain a master document list under all applicable domains to ensure compliance both per Group and local regulations.
• In coordination with entity process owners, collate and organize all compliance documentation; evaluate the compliance status of the entity.
• Maintain, validate and track the action plans established in case of non-compliance.
• Communicate with entity process owners on compliance needs, requirements and changes.
• Employ the Six-Sigma methodology (PDCA) for successful implementation of GP01 within the entity.
