    Project Overview

    A major urban development project comprising new homes, commercial properties, public spaces, and smart urban mobility.

    This project offers Mace the opportunity to develop and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) structure to deliver this city development.

    Your Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for:

    • Designing PDMS delivery based on project requirements
    • Mentoring, supporting, and managing junior team members to deliver specific client requirements
    • Recommending continual improvements and future developments to clients with expert knowledge and experience
    • Identifying business development opportunities within client areas and sharing leads/prospects with senior directors
    • Reporting and performing management specialist tasks while staying up-to-date with industry trends
    • Providing timely and effective advice to clients
    • Understanding data management principles
    • Having excellent attention to detail and ability to validate inputs, recording, and reporting produced
    • Influencing clients to accept proposals and recommendations
    • Working collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition and proactively identifying and managing associated carbon emissions

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • A relevant degree qualification
    • Proven experience working on city development projects
    • Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience

    You will also have:

    • Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development
    • Significant experience in change management
    • Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes
    • Programme management expertise
    • Strong commercial and financial acumen
    • Leadership and management experience of large teams
    • Experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders
    • Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations in project delivery
