    We are looking for a SAP PMO Finance for one of our clients from the Energy sector to be based in Oman.

    Job Overview: As the SAP PMO Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and management of SAP projects within the finance domain. You will work closely with finance teams, project managers, and IT professionals to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and maximize the value of SAP solutions in alignment with financial objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and policies.
    • Develop project charters, plans, and timelines, and monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
    • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP project objectives.
    • Assist in the development of project budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.
    • Track project expenses, analyze variances, and provide insights to optimize resource allocation and budget utilization.
    • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on project outcomes.
    • Monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks effectively.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
    • Support change management initiatives by communicating project objectives, benefits, and impacts to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Develop and implement change management plans to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption of SAP solutions.
    • Provide training and support to finance teams to ensure proficiency in utilizing SAP functionalities effectively.
    • Foster strong relationships with finance stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries, escalations, and feedback, and facilitate resolution of issues in a timely manner.
    • Communicate project updates, successes, and challenges to stakeholders through regular reports, presentations, and meetings.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and standardization within the finance function leveraging SAP capabilities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous optimization of SAP systems and processes.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and identify areas for enhancement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in project management, preferably in SAP implementations within the finance domain.
    • Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, and controls, with hands-on experience in SAP Finance modules.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex problems, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Proven track record of driving successful project outcomes, managing budgets, and mitigating risks.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
