    Job Title: General Manager - M&A Function

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our M&A function in Muscat, Oman. Reporting to the Chief of Strategy, you will be responsible for identifying and executing transformative opportunities that align with global and regional market trends.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with senior executives to develop strategic frameworks for corporate development.
    • Drive M&A projects from initiation to execution.
    • Oversee post-merger integration strategies.
    • Provide guidance on corporate governance and partner relationships.
    • Conduct strategic reviews of portfolio companies.
    • Establish management information systems.
    • Support credit rating agencies and investor relations activities.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • At least 8 years of experience in corporate development, innovation, or strategy, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
    • Expertise in investment appraisal, M&A due diligence, and valuation.
    • Investment banking experience is desired.
    • Telecoms or technology business experience is desirable.
