    We are seeking for one of our Oil & Gas clients, a skilled, energetic and motivatedDrilling & Measurement Maintenance Manager to be based in Nizwa, Oman.

    Job Overview: The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance operations of drilling and measurement equipment, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in electronic technician work coupled with managerial experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for servicing drilling and measurement equipment.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure timely and effective upkeep of equipment.
    • Conduct regular inspections of drilling and measurement tools and systems to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues.
    • Coordinate with drilling operations teams to schedule equipment downtime for maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to production schedules.
    • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff to facilitate repairs.
    • Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment components, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs.
    • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source necessary parts and materials for maintenance activities.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
    • Implement and promote best practices for equipment maintenance and operation to enhance reliability and longevity.
    • Train and mentor maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in drilling and measurement equipment maintenance.
    • Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and expenditures for management review.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in maintenance management in the oil and gas industry.
    • Strong background in electronic technician work, including troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems and components.
    • Knowledge of drilling and measurement equipment and technologies, such as MWD (Measurement While Drilling) and LWD (Logging While Drilling) systems, preferred.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
    • Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, often under tight deadlines.
