Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Superintendent with strong industrial plant and gas processing expertise to join an innovative pilot project in Fujairah, UAE.

The selected candidate will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a cutting-edge Carbon Capture and CO₂ Liquefaction Plant.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations at the pilot plant, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and HSE standards.
Monitor and optimise gas processing and cryogenic processes (pressure, temperature, flow, purity) to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Oversee start-up, shutdown, and transitions between operating modes.
Lead and mentor operators/contractors, promoting a strong safety culture.
Analyse operational data and provide technical insights to optimise plant performance

Candidate Profile

10+ years' experience in industrial gas, gas processing, petrochemical, or process plant operations, with strong exposure to cryogenic or CO₂ handling processes (cryogenic/CO₂ experience is a plus).

Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on expertise).
Proven supervisory/leadership experience in plant operations.
Strong knowledge of HSE systems, permit-to-work, and industrial risk management.
Medically fit for a hands-on supervisory role; committed to high safety standards.

Only candidates with proven gas processing / industrial plant operations experience and supervisory/leadership background will be considered.

Work schedule: 5 days on / weekends off (overtime available for on-call).
