DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGER 

Design and Project Management for Architectural & Interior fit-out for Hotels, Resorts, High End Residential and Multi-functional Commercial projects. Seeking a challenging role that will use my expertise for organization and personnel growth.

Profile Summary

• Managing Design and Build projects encompassing from Strategic Planning and Concept Design, Design Development, Detail engineering, Issuing Construction Documentation, Co-ordination with all stakeholder’s, Manufacturing of fit-out items and Project Execution. 
• Supporting Business Development with understanding of client’s requirement and Leading the Design Development for concept design, making of design drawings with specification sheets,  recommending on FF&E and materials, giving inputs for 3D, making of mood boards, design presentations, checking of BOQs, establishing a project schedule, review contract and quotations and obtaining client’s approval.
• Technical review of Design documents, Co-ordination with all consultants , Checking of shop drawings if in line with approved design, review BOQ and specification, take active part in Value engineering, detail engineering for cost reduction, provide inputs for making the base line program, obtain approvals from client, issue drawings and documents for execution. 
• Managing Projects in allowed Cost, time and Quality considering Technical inputs, Material Management, Manpower management with effective management techniques. 
• Managing technical approvals by Obtaining approvals on Shop drawings, Material approvals, method statements, making of mock-ups, taking part in technical reviews, escalating the variation items and getting approval from client. 
• Actively co-ordinate and give technical inputs to procurement department for placing of purchase orders, work orders for different materials suppliers, vendors. Co-ordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely completion of work. Checking of work done by vendors and giving approvals.
• Timely visit to factory to check and resolve technical issues during production for joinery works, metal, glass, marble and different materials. Review the production plan, technical drawings and production documents before releasing it for manufacturing. Take part in mock-ups with intermediate quality control procedures at material store, machine shop, dry assembly, finishing as per the ISO: 9001 standards provided by the management. 
• Update and track the baseline program and make project progress reports, site visits to track the progress and resolve the technical and resource issues for smooth execution of the project. Mark delays and provide delay reports, co-ordinate with contracts for making contractual letters, Tracking of project with effective co-ordination with all agencies involved and escalating the issues to management to resolve.  Co-ordinating for additional resources if required after taking managements approval, Provide stage wise or item wise completion of works for making running bills or payment application, obtain completion certificate on successful completion of project.
